Before you start
- People or projects in your workspace
Save and share useful views
Saved views keep a useful set of filters and the way you chose to see the results. They are shortcuts, not copies of your records: changing or removing a saved view never changes a person, project, or pipeline.
Save a personal view
On Board, choose a pipeline, search or filter the projects, and select Board, List, Calendar, or Timeline. Enter a name under Saved views, then choose Save current view.
On People, search or filter by record type, relationship, source, tag, or status. Enter a name under Saved segments, then choose Save current segment.
The default is personal. A view labeled Mine appears only for you, even when another member has access to the same records.
Share a workspace view
Workspace owners and administrators can select Share with workspace before saving. The view is then labeled Workspace and appears for every member who can use that part of Cygnetree.
Use a workspace view for a team convention such as “Needs a reply,” “Upcoming field work,” or “Active venue partners.” Keep experimental filters and personal working queues private.
Sharing a view does not expand record permissions. A member still sees only the feature and records their role allows.
Understand starter views
An installed industry starter can include coordinated views labeled Starter. These are shared workspace examples that demonstrate a useful workflow without locking you into it.
Starter views are managed with the starter in Library. They cannot be removed one at a time through the saved-view row because doing so could leave the installed starter incomplete. You can still create personal or workspace alternatives.
Remove a saved view safely
Choose Remove saved view beside a view you are allowed to manage. You can remove your own personal views. Owners and administrators can also remove user-created workspace views.
Removal archives only the shortcut. It does not delete contacts or projects, change a pipeline, remove a starter, or affect another member's personal views. The underlying filters remain available to use again.
Know what other members can see
- Mine is visible only to its creator.
- Workspace is visible to members who can open that feature.
- Starter is a shared example controlled by its installed starter.
The view label and its saved filter definition may be shared. Another member's private saved view is never returned to you, and saving a view never grants access to data.
