Before you start
- A completed guided workspace setup
Core stays industry neutral
Industry packs are removable examples. They can add tenant-owned templates, fields, views, pipelines, forms, schedules, messages, agreements, service options, and draft recipes. They never change entitlement or replace the core person/project model.
Install only the pieces that solve a real problem. Preview every record, then edit the result in the same builders used for work created from scratch.
Wedding planning and coordination
Emphasize inquiry qualification, date/venue, proposal, booking, planning phases, vendor coordination, timeline approvals, rehearsal/event delivery, final balances, and wrap-up. Keep event year and service level as fields or views rather than hard-coded pipelines.
Use the vendor portal for project-scoped collaboration, not as a shared client portal. A vendor may later convert to a full workspace without receiving unrelated project or client visibility.
Entertainment and production
Track availability, equipment/crew requirements, music or run-of-show intake, contracts, deposits, production milestones, venue coordination, load-in, performance, strike, and follow-up. Use tasks and custom fields for equipment facts; use files for authoritative riders and timelines.
Catering, baking, bar, floral, decor, and rentals
Track guest/count assumptions, service location, tastings or consultations, design approvals, allergies and restrictions, quantities, rentals, delivery/setup windows, staffing, final count, balances, pickup/strike, and damage/return follow-up. Treat sensitive dietary information deliberately and do not collect more than the work requires.
Venues
Track inquiry, tour, hold, proposal, agreement, deposit, planning handoff, vendor requirements, insurance/compliance, access schedule, event operations, final charges, and closeout. Model spaces, contacts, and preferred vendors as reusable records instead of copying them into each project.
Photography and video
Track inquiry, scope, booking, preparation, capture, ingest/backup, selection, editing, client review, delivery, archive, and usage follow-up. Keep large media in the selected portable storage destination and use Cygnetree for workflow, requests, previews, and stable references.
Hair, makeup, and appointment services
Track inquiry, availability, consultation/trial, agreement, deposit, preparation, appointment schedule, service delivery, remaining balance, and follow-up. Use one booking host per appointment type and verify buffers, travel, party size, location, and personal calendar policy.
Consulting, creative, and field services
For consulting or creative work, use discovery, scope, decision, kickoff, production, review, delivery, and follow-up. For field service, use request, assessment, estimate, scheduling, on-site work, completion approval, invoice, and recurring follow-up.
Those examples prove the platform is not a wedding-specific data model. Start from the closest outcome pattern and rename it in the tenant; do not force the business into a reference pack.
