Compose the service page

Choose Services and create a service page. Packages hold the name, price, and included services. The optional story area turns the same page into a guided client journey: add headings, text, images, callouts, useful links or video links, dividers, and next steps.

Blocks stay in the order you choose and show a responsive preview while you edit. Guidance calls out missing headings, unclear image descriptions, and journeys without a next step. These are suggestions, not gates — you control the document.

Install Wedding planning packages from the Library for a complete editable example. Duplicate any service page before experimenting. Copies begin paused so an unfinished version is never public by accident.

Connect the client journey

Open the service page's row menu and choose Compose client journey. You can connect any active questionnaire, contract template, and booking page owned by your workspace. Reorder the steps and choose whether clients move through them in sequence or may work in any order.

Every journey includes a payment schedule. The safe default is one payment for 100% of the package price. Add up to twelve installments, name each one, choose its percentage and optional due-day offset, and make sure the percentages total exactly 100%. Cygnetree allocates every cent without rounding drift. You can unlock scheduling after the first successful payment or after the invoice is paid in full.

These choices are workspace configuration, not Cygnetree-wide defaults. Editing them changes future selections only. A client who already chose a package keeps the questionnaire, contract, payment terms, scheduler, ordering, welcome message, service-page version, and package price that were effective at the time.

Preview and share

Use the row menu to copy the public link or email it to a specific client. An optional expiry date closes a time-sensitive offer automatically. Pausing a service page also hides the public page without deleting its content or history.

Every save advances the service-page version shown in the list. This provides an editing trail; it does not turn an unsigned service page into a legal agreement.

Review and launch a choice

A package choice creates a draft invoice and its payment schedule, plus a frozen client journey in Recent picks. Nothing is signed, charged, or sent automatically. Open Review journey to:

1. confirm the client and package;
2. attach an existing project for that client, when one exists;
3. review the questionnaire, agreement, payment split, and scheduler;
4. open and adjust the draft invoice if needed;
5. launch the journey.

Launch creates the frozen questionnaire and agreement, makes the invoice available, and sends one durable portal invitation. The client sees a single plan and only the steps currently unlocked. When the scheduler opens from that plan, Cygnetree carries the client and project identity forward so the client does not re-enter it and a duplicate project is not created.

A package choice remains business context, not a signature, successful payment, or final booking. The documents it generates keep their ordinary contract, invoice, payment, questionnaire, and booking history, so they remain usable outside the journey screen.

Questions sent as email replies return to the client's Cygnetree conversation when inbound email is configured.

Recover a failed launch

Cygnetree does not show a successful launch until the email provider accepts the portal invitation. If delivery or finalization fails, the journey returns to Ready, keeps the documents you already reviewed, shows the reason it failed, and may be retried without creating duplicates.

If the client loses or expires the portal link, resend a portal invitation from the person's page. The newest delivered invitation replaces the older active link; a failed resend does not invalidate a link that still works.
